What to Expect
Allergy consultation begins with a structured history to identify triggers and symptom patterns, followed by nasal endoscopy to assess the degree of mucosal inflammation and polyp formation. Management is based on current best-practice guidelines and may include intranasal steroids, antihistamines, saline irrigation, and — for surgical cases — FESS to remove polyps and open the sinuses. Patients requiring immunotherapy or full allergen testing panels are referred to a clinical immunologist.
