What to Expect
Consultation begins with a detailed history and flexible laryngoscopy — a quick, well-tolerated in-clinic procedure that provides a direct view of the vocal cords and upper airway. Sleep apnoea assessment may include an in-home sleep study. Surgical procedures such as tonsillectomy are performed under general anaesthesia and typically require a one- to two-night hospital admission. All patients receive a written post-operative care plan.
