What to Expect
Your first appointment includes a full ear examination using an operating microscope and, where indicated, pure tone audiometry to assess hearing function. CT imaging may be requested for complex or cholesteatoma cases. Surgical procedures are performed under general anaesthesia, typically as day cases or with one overnight stay. Post-operative review is arranged at 1–2 weeks to assess healing and hearing.
